Summary: On October 7, 2025, five armed Border Patrol agents were filmed detaining a civilian on Chicago’s Kedzie Avenue. One agent aggressively swung his rifle on a single-point sling while moving toward a civilian, appeared to challenge him, and then attempted to tackle the civilian. The tackle failed, and three other agents rushed in to slam the bystander to the ground and restrain him.

The footage circulated widely due to the aggressive behavior and the agent threatening a separate witness with “you’re next.”

Full Description

The video shows a unit of U.S. Border Patrol agents operating on a public street in Chicago. One agent, wearing a helmet and full tactical kit, approached a civilian while aggressively swinging a rifle attached to a single-point sling. He made gestures consistent with attempting to provoke or intimidate the individual.

The same agent then lunged at a bystander and attempted a tackle but failed to bring the civilian down. Immediately afterward, multiple agents converged and forced the civilian to the pavement. Another agent verbally threatened a separate bystander recording the scene.

A white SUV, commonly used by DHS units, is visible behind the agents and is included as a vehicle involved.
