Overview

GEO Transport, Inc. (GTI) is the in-house secure transportation subsidiary of The GEO Group, established in 2007 to provide armed, secure ground and air transportation services for government customers.[1] GEO describes GTI as supporting federal agency partners including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and offering both ground transport and air-operations capability.[1] Advocacy documentation has also described GTI as a transportation and deportation services provider connected to GEO’s immigration detention business.[2]

Boycott

GEO Transport, Inc. is listed for boycott due to documented work supporting U.S. immigration enforcement operations, including air operations support services for ICE.

In March 2024, GEO announced that GTI was awarded a five-year contract (inclusive of option periods) to provide air operations support services on behalf of ICE, as a subcontractor to CSI Aviation, Inc., which ICE selected as prime contractor.[3] The same announcement stated GTI began providing air operations support to ICE under a nine-month emergency contract starting in July 2023 and that the new contract was expected to generate approximately $25 million in annualized revenues for GEO.[3]

GEO’s own description of GTI states that GTI’s secure transportation operations are co-located with facilities operated by GEO and support U.S. immigration enforcement and other federal agencies, and that GTI provides secure ground and air transfer services.[1] AFSC Investigate likewise describes GTI as GEO’s transportation division and notes GTI provides ICE with transportation services, including deportation flights.[2]

Background

ICE and DHS rely on contractors and subcontractors for secure transportation, including ground transfers and charter/air-operations support connected to deportation and detention logistics. Because these services can materially enable immigration enforcement operations (including removals), ICE List documents and, where applicable, boycotts companies whose work supports those functions.[3][2]
