ICE List:Data Standards
Data Standards
To keep the ICE List accurate and easy to navigate, all pages follow a shared set of standards for naming, formatting and categorisation. This ensures the entire system is searchable, internally consistent, and easy for volunteers to work with.
Naming Conventions
Agents
Agent pages use the format:
Agent:Full_Name
Examples:
- Agent:David_Kim
- Agent:Gregory_Bovino
If the name is unknown:
- Agent:Unknown_(State)-(Number)
Incidents
Incidents follow:
Incident:YYYY-MM-DD_Location_State_Description
This ensures incidents sort correctly by date.
Examples:
- Incident:2025-04-11_South_Park_San_Diego_CA_Armed_Agent
- Incident:2025-06-02_Atlanta_GA_Workplace_Raid
Facilities
Facility:Name_(State)
Vehicles
Vehicle:Agency_Identifier
