Paul A. McBride

Paul A. McBride was the Acting ERO Operations Houston Field Office Director as of July 28, 2025[1], and in 2020 (when a letter was addressed to him from local advocates)[2], but he was also a Deputy Field Office Director in 2022 and 2023[3][4]. As of August 6, 2025, Gabriel Martinez appears to be filling the Acting ERO Houston Field Office Director role[5]. Given McBride's history alternating between Deputy FOD and Acting FOD at ERO Houston, it's probable he has now returned to his prior role as Deputy FOD.

McBride has featured prominently in multiple ICE press releases over the last several years[1][3]. He was also briefly seen in an April 2025 Fox News segment filmed inside the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, TX[6]. In a June 2025 article by The Intercept, he was implicated in a whistleblower complaint made earlier that year[4]. He was also named as a respondent in a Habeus petition filed on December 5, 2025.[7]
